    1. Während der Lektüre stellte sich mir fast durchgängig die Frage, warum Uwe Schultz dem Buch diesen Titel gab. Madame de Pompadour. Allzu viel erfährt man nicht über sie. Ihre Person wird verhältnismäßig kurz unter die Lupe genommen. Im Großteil des Buches jedoch geht es schlicht und ergreifend um den Rokoko, um Geschichte, Ereignisse, aber nicht um die Pompadour. Je länger man liest, desto mehr kommt das Gefühl auf, dass Schultz permanent Lückenfüller einbaut, als wüsste er nichts [...]
